This is quite disgraceful. A sub station (or similar) parked next to a tree, which (hopefully) has a lot more growth to attend too. Plus it has a steel fence with concrete foundations.

What on earth, possessed the planner involved, to sit down, with a cup of tea, and say to him/her self, "hmmm, I know, lets stick it next to that tree, that'll be a good place"!

And lets follow up 'Pic 13' with another one of those amoeba brain decisions. They have stacks of room for a works compound yet seem strangely attracted to this little tree which was happy looking forward to spreading its little rooties. Its as if the contractors are lonely and need company. Or maybe they just thought, sod it, lets kill the last one standing!

We cant blame them, after all if you build tree protection designed for horses and then let this lot in, its gonna happen. Shame about that stake (actually I'm not even sure the cage would of kept horses away).
