Stump Carving Picture
This is a wonderful picture sent in by Elton Watson (click on the picture for a close up). The stump is not hidden in a garden or park but just at the side of a minor road where it makes a nice surprise.

An Oak stump in Chirk, North Wales. Carved by the 'Chirk' wood sculptor Jim Heath.
It features a colliery, church, castle, aqueduct & viaduct; all on the one stump! A nice alternative to stump grinding.
