Three Found Guilty Of Tree Offence

Following a complaint in August 2005 regarding works to two trees that had been carried out at a property in Institute Road, Marlow, bucks an investigation was undertaken by Wycombe District Council's planning enforcement section.
Five people were interviewed at the Council Offices regarding the offence.
On the 29 March 2006, three people pleaded guilty at Wycombe Magistrate's Court. They were prosecuted for the offence of 'carrying out works to a tree in the Marlow Conservation Area without having first notified the Local Planning Authority of the works that they intended to carry out'.

The total fine given to the three offenders was £1250, they also had to pay costs totalling £600.
