Happy New Year from the AIE
A new year and a slightly new AIE......again!

Not much has happened to the AIE over the last year or so mainly due to lack of time on my part.  But hopefully things will improve with a new program I have put together which actually creates the site pages, menus etc for me; all I need do is submit the initial data and the program then adds it to the AIE vault. This process is actually mildly enjoyable. So over the next few weeks, more changes, new pages will be added and old ones found and revamped.
But this does mean a simplified AIE with the focus being on just a 'store' for Arb related data rather than a news site.

Ripple Bench

Created by the wood carving artist Roger Day.
This is a wonderful picture sent in by Elton Watson. The stump is not hidden in a garden or park but just at the side of a minor road in Chirk, North Wales where it makes a nice surprise. It was carved by the 'Chirk' wood sculptor Jim Heath. It features a colliery, church, castle, aqueduct & viaduct; all on the one stump! A nice alternative to stump grinding.
